Rabbit anti-Human HOXA10 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HOXA10 antibody
HOXA10 Antibody (Center)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of lysate from T47D cell line, using HOXA10 Antibody (Center). MBS9208123 was diluted at 1:1000. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 20ug.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of HOXA10 Antibody (Center) with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)
Western Blot (WB)
(HOXA10 Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in WiDr,HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the HOXA10 antibody detected the HOXA10 protein (arrow).)
transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters
named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of
these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during
embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on
chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor that
may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation.
More specifically, it may function in fertility, embryo viability,
and regulation of hematopoietic lineage commitment. Alternatively
spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been
described.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. This gene is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a DNA-binding transcription factor that may regulate gene expression, morphogenesis, and differentiation. More specifically, it may function in fertility, embryo viability, and regulation of hematopoietic lineage commitment. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. Read-through transcription also exists between this gene and the downstream homeobox A9 (HOXA9) gene. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011]
Uniprot Description
HOXA10: Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Binds to the DNA sequence 5'-AA[AT]TTTTATTAC-3'. Belongs to the Abd-B homeobox family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: DNA-binding; Transcription factor
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 7p15.2
Cellular Component: transcription factor complex; cytoplasm; nucleus
Molecular Function: protein binding; histone deacetylase binding
Biological Process: anterior/posterior pattern formation; transcription, DNA-dependent; single fertilization; multicellular organismal development; male gonad development; spermatogenesis; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; uterus development; skeletal development; proximal/distal pattern formation; embryonic limb morphogenesis

Product Notes
The HOXA10 hoxa10 (Catalog #AAA9208123) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 244-271. The HOXA10 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HOXA10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HOXA10 hoxa10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HOXA10, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
