Related Product Information for anti-HEMK1 antibody
HEMK1 (HemK Methyltransferase Family Member 1) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HEMK1 gene. The HEMK1 gene, located on 3p21.31, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, fruit fly, and frog. An important paralog of this gene is N6AMT1. 243 organisms have orthologs with the human gene HEMK1. HEMK1 is widely expressed in the thyroid, ovary, and other tissues. HEMK1 belongs to the protein N5-glutamine methyltransferase family, which is responsible for the methylation of the glutamine residue in the universally conserved GGQ motif of the mitochondrial translation release factor MTRF1L.

Product Notes

The HEMK1 hemk1 (Catalog #AAA8102234) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-HEMK1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HEMK1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:100-1:400. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HEMK1 hemk1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HEMK1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
