Rabbit anti-Human HBQ1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-HBQ1 antibody
HBQ1, NT (HBQ1, Hemoglobin subunit theta-1, Hemoglobin theta-1 chain, Theta-1-globin) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(HBQ1 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the HBQ1 antibody detected the HBQ1 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(HBQ1 Antibody (N-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of HBQ1 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Theta-globin mRNA is found in human fetal erythroid tissue but not in adult erythroid or other nonerythroid tissue. The theta-1 gene may be expressed very early in embryonic life, perhaps sometime before 5 weeks. Theta-1 is a member of the human alpha-globin gene cluster that involves five functional genes and two pseudogenes. The order of genes is: 5' - zeta - pseudozeta - mu - pseudoalpha-2 -pseudoalpha-1 - alpha-2 - alpha-1 - theta-1 - 3'. Research supports a transcriptionally active role for the gene and a functional role for the peptide in specific cells, possibly those of early erythroid tissue. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The HBQ1 hbq1 (Catalog #AAA6305627) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HBQ1, NT (HBQ1, Hemoglobin subunit theta-1, Hemoglobin theta-1 chain, Theta-1-globin) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HBQ1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HBQ1 hbq1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HBQ1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
