Rabbit anti-Human GTSE1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-GTSE1 antibody
GTSE1, CT (GTSE1, G2 and S phase-expressed protein 1, Protein B99 homolog) (PE)
FLISA: 1:1,000
IHC: 1:50-100
WB: 1:100-500
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of GTSE1 Antibody (C-term) in Hela cell line lysates (35ug/lane). GTSE1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(GTSE1 Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the GTSE1 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(GTSE1 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is only expressed in the S and G2 phases of the cell cycle, where it colocalizes with cytoplasmic tubulin and microtubules. In response to DNA damage, the encoded protein accumulates in the nucleus and binds the tumor suppressor protein p53, shuttling it out of the nucleus and repressing its ability to induce apoptosis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
GTSE1: May be involved in p53-induced cell cycle arrest in G2/M phase by interfering with microtubule rearrangements that are required to enter mitosis. Overexpression delays G2/M phase progression.
Protein type: Apoptosis; Cell cycle regulation
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 22q13.2-q13.3
Cellular Component: membrane; cytoplasmic microtubule
Molecular Function: protein binding
Biological Process: DNA damage response, signal transduction by p53 class mediator resulting in cell cycle arrest; microtubule-based process

Product Notes
The GTSE1 gtse1 (Catalog #AAA6305052) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GTSE1, CT (GTSE1, G2 and S phase-expressed protein 1, Protein B99 homolog) (PE) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GTSE1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GTSE1 gtse1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GTSE1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
