Related Product Information for anti-Cxcl1 antibody
All three isoforms of GRO are CXC chemokines that can signal through the CXCR1 or CXCR2 receptors. The GRO proteins chemoattract and activate neutrophils and basophils. Recombinant rat GRO/KC is a 7.8kD protein consisting of 72 amino acids including the 'ELR' motif common to the CXC chemokine family that bind to CXCR1 or CXCR2.

NCBI Description

acts as a neutrophil chemoattractant; may play a role in acute phase inflammatory response [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

CXCL2: Produced by activated monocytes and neutrophils and expressed at sites of inflammation. Hematoregulatory chemokine, which, in vitro, suppresses hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. GRO-beta(5-73) shows a highly enhanced hematopoietic activity. Belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CxC) family.

Product Notes

The Cxcl1 cxcl1 (Catalog #AAA611087) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GRO/KC reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GRO/KC can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Neutralization. Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Neutralization. Dilution: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml (100ul/well). Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Use 1.5-3.0ng/lane as the detection limit for recombinant rat GRO/KC. Neutralization: 5-10ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cxcl1 cxcl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GRO/KC, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
