Related Product Information for anti-Glutamate Transporter, Aspartate EAAT1 antibody
Excitatory amino acid transporter 1 (EAAT1) is a glutamate transporter (GluT). It rapidly removes L-glutamate from the synaptic cleft which is essential for terminating the postsynaptic action of glutamate. EAAT1 is also known as high affinity sodium-dependent glutamate/aspartate transporter 1 (GLAST1). EAAT1 is highly expressed in cerebellum but is also found in the frontal cortex, hippocampus and basal ganglia.

AAA Biotech's Glutamate Transporter, Aspartate EAAT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in Western Blot. Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Glutamate Transporter, Aspartate EAAT1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Glutamate Transporter, Aspartate EAAT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
