Biological Significance
FOXO1 pan is a transcription factor of the forkhead family. A central regulator of metabolism in several cell types. May play an important role in myogenic growth and differentiation, and in the regulation of lipolysis in adipocytes by controlling the expression of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL), the rate-limiting lipolytic enzyme.
Cross-Reactivity
Mouse
Immunogen
FOXO1 pan antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthesized peptide derived from Internal of human FOXO1 pan as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C in small aliquots. Avoid repeat freeze/thaw cycles

Uniprot Description

FOXO1A: a transcription factor of the forkhead family. A central regulator of metabolism in several cell types. May play an important role in myogenic growth and differentiation, and in the regulation of lipolysis in adipocytes by controlling the expression of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL), the rate-limiting lipolytic enzyme. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Contains 1 fork-head domain.

Product Notes

The FOXO1 pan foxo1 (Catalog #AAA838912) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's FOXO1 pan can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FOXO1 pan foxo1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXO1 pan, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
