Related Product Information for anti-FCRL5 antibody
This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily and the Fc-receptor like family. This gene and several other Fc receptor-like gene members are clustered on the long arm of chromosome 1. The encoded protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein and contains 8 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains. This gene is implicated in B cell development and lymphomagenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2010]

Uniprot Description

FCRL5: May be involved in B-cell development and differentiation in peripheral lymphoid organs and may be useful markers of B-cell stages. May have an immunoregulatory role in marginal zone B-cells. A chromosomal aberration involving FCRL5 has been found in cell lines with 1q21 abnormalities derived from Burkitt lymphoma. Duplication dup(1)(q21q32). 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cell surface; Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1q21

Cellular Component: integral to membrane; plasma membrane; receptor complex

Biological Process: negative regulation of B cell receptor signaling pathway; negative regulation of release of sequestered calcium ion into cytosol

Product Notes

The FCRL5 fcrl5 (Catalog #AAA417514) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-FCRL5 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FCRL5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). ELISA titer: 1:20,000-1:80,000 Western blot analysis: 1:200-1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:500 Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FCRL5 fcrl5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FCRL5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
