Target Description: The Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC) currently includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1 (also called BRCA2), FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ (also called BRIP1), FANCL, FANCM and FANCN (also called PALB2). The previously defined group FANCH is the same as FANCA. Fanconi anemia is a genetically heterogeneous recessive disorder characterized by cytogenetic instability, hypersensitivity to DNA crosslinking agents, increased chromosomal breakage, and defective DNA repair. The members of the Fanconi anemia complementation group do not share sequence similarity; they are related by their assembly into a common nuclear protein complex. The Fanconi anemia complementation group (FANC) currently includes FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCD1 (also called BRCA2), FANCD2, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCI, FANCJ (also called BRIP1), FANCL, FANCM and FANCN (also called PALB2). Uniprot Description

FANCE: As part of the Fanconi anemia (FA) complex functions in DNA cross-links repair. Required for the nuclear accumulation of FANCC and provides a critical bridge between the FA complex and FANCD2. Belongs to the multisubunit FA complex composed of FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCL/PHF9 and FANCM. The complex is not found in FA patients. Interacts with FANCC and FANCD2.

Product Notes

The FANCE fance (Catalog #AAA3212190) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FANCE antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Horse, Human, Pig, Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FANCE can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FANCE fance for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: SPQAPDPEEE ENRDSQQPGK RRKDSEEEAA SPEGKRVPKR LRCWEEEEDH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FANCE, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
