Related Product Information for anti-ETF1 antibody
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for eRF1/ETF1 detection. Tested with WB, Direct ELISA in Human; Mouse; Rat.

Background: Eukaryotic translation termination factor 1 (eRF1), also known asTB3-1, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ETF1 gene. It is mapped to 5q31.2. This gene encodes a class-1 polypeptide chain release factor. The encoded protein plays an essential role in directing termination of mRNA translation from the termination codons UAA, UAG and UGA. This protein is a component of the SURF complex which promotes degradation of prematurely terminated mRNAs via the mechanism of nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 6, 7, and X.

Product Notes

The ETF1 etf1 (Catalog #AAA1753102) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-eRF1/ETF1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's eRF1/ETF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Direct ELISA (EIA). WB: 0.25-0.5ug/ml (Human, Mouse, Rat) Direct ELISA: 0.1-0.5ug/ml (Human) Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ETF1 etf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "eRF1/ETF1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
