Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse EN2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-EN2 antibody
EN2, CT (Homeobox Protein Engrailed-2, Homeobox Protein en-2, Hu-En-2) (HRP)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of EN2 antibody (C-term) in 293 cell line lysates and mouse stomach and lung tissue lysates (35ug/lane). EN2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent confocal image of Hela cell stained with EN2 Antibody (C-term). Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with EN2 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree C).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree C). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). EN2 immunoreactivity is localized to nucleus significantly and Cytoplasm weakly. )
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Homeobox-containing genes are thought to have a role in controlling development. In Drosophila, the 'engrailed' (en) gene plays an important role during development in segmentation, where it is required for the formation of posterior compartments. Different mutations in the mouse homologs, En1 and En2, produced different developmental defects that frequently are lethal. The human engrailed homologs 1 and 2 encode homeodomain-containing proteins and have been implicated in the control of pattern formation during development of the central nervous system. Product Notes
The EN2 en2 (Catalog #AAA6473809) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The EN2, CT (Homeobox Protein Engrailed-2, Homeobox Protein en-2, Hu-En-2) (HRP) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's EN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EN2 en2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "EN2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
