NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the deoxyribonuclease I family. The encoded protein hydrolyzes DNA, is not inhibited by actin, and mediates the breakdown of DNA during apoptosis. Mutations in this gene are a cause of systemic lupus erythematosus-16. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. Uniprot Description
DNASE1L3: Has DNA hydrolytic activity. Does not bind to actin. Cleaves chromatin DNA to nucleosomal units. Defects in DNASE1L3 are the cause of systemic lupus erythematosus type 16 (SLEB16). A rare autosomal recessive form of systemic lupus erythematosus with childhood onset, characterized by high frequency of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies and lupus nephritis. Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory, and often febrile multisystemic disorder of connective tissue, characterized principally by involvement of the skin, joints, kidneys and serosal membranes. It is of unknown etiology, but is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system. The disease is marked by a wide range of system dysfunctions, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the formation of LE cells in the blood or bone marrow. Belongs to the DNase I family.

Product Notes
The DNASE1L3 dnase1l3 (Catalog #AAA6292942) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DNASE1L3, NT (DNASE1L3, DHP2, DNAS1L3, Deoxyribonuclease gamma, DNase I homolog protein DHP2, Deoxyribonuclease I-like 3, Liver and spleen DNase) (Azide free) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DNASE1L3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:100-500 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DNASE1L3 dnase1l3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DNASE1L3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
