Related Product Information for anti-DNAL1 antibody
Dynein light chain 1 (LC1/DNAL1) is one of the most highly conserved components of ciliary axonemal outer arm dyneins, and it associates with both a heavy chain motor unit and tubulin located within the A-tubule of the axonemal outer doublet microtubules. DNAL1 acts as the molecular motor which supplies the force to move cilia in an ATP-dependent manner. DNAL1 is a 22-kDa leucine-rich repeat (LRR) protein expressed in tissues with motile cilia or flagella and involved in the movement of sperm flagella. DNAL1 mutations are associated with primary ciliary dyskinesia. DNAL1 has also been identified as an HIV dependency factor (HDF), suggesting that DNAL1 may be an important drug target in HIV treatment. At least two isoforms of DNAL1 are known to exist.

Product Notes

The DNAL1 (Catalog #AAA8110102) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-DNAL1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DNAL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). IHC-P: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DNAL1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DNAL1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
