Related Product Information for anti-DLX4 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against DLX4. It was validated on Western Blot

Target Description: Many vertebrate homeo box-containing genes have been identified on the basis of their sequence similarity with Drosophila developmental genes. Members of the Dlx gene family contain a homeobox that is related to that of Distal-less (Dll), a gene expressed in the head and limbs of the developing fruit fly. The Distal-less (Dlx) family of genes comprises at least 6 different members, DLX1-DLX6. The DLX proteins are postulated to play a role in forebrain and craniofacial development. Three transcript variants have been described for this gene, however, the full length nature of one variant has not been described. Studies of the two splice variants revealed that one encoded isoform functions as a repressor of the beta-globin gene while the other isoform lacks that function.

Product Notes

The DLX4 dlx4 (Catalog #AAA3204854) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DLX4 antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Cow, Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DLX4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DLX4 dlx4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: YPLGLSPTTA ASPNLSYSRP YGHLLSYPYT EPANPGDSYL SCQQPAALSQ. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DLX4, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
