NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases. They are implicated in a number of cellular processes involving alteration of RNA secondary structure such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly. Based on their distribution patterns, some members of this DEAD box protein family are believed to be involved in embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division. This gene encodes a member of this family. The function of this member has not been determined. Alternative splicing of this gene generates 2 transcript variants, but the full length nature of one of the variants has not been defined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The DHX32 dhx32 (Catalog #AAA6292106) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DHX32, ID (DHX32, DDX32, Putative pre-mRNA-splicing factor ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX32, DEAD/H box 32, DEAD/H helicase-like protein 1, DEAH box protein 32, HuDDX32) (Azide free) (HRP) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DHX32 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DHX32 dhx32 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DHX32, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
