Related Product Information for anti-DENND3 antibody
Guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activating RAB12. Promotes the exchange of GDP to GTP, converting inactive GDP-bound RAB12 into its active GTP-bound form. Thereby, may play a role in protein transport from recycling endosomes to lysosomes regulating, for instance, the degradation of the transferrin receptor.

Uniprot Description

DENND3: a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) activating RAB12. Promotes the exchange of GDP to GTP, converting inactive GDP-bound RAB12 into its active GTP-bound form. Plays a role in protein transport from recycling endosomes to lysosomes regulating, for example, the degradation of the transferrin receptor. Four isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: GEFs; GEFs, Rab

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 8q24.3

Cellular Component: intracellular

Molecular Function: Rab guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor activity

Biological Process: cellular protein catabolic process; endosome to lysosome transport; positive regulation of GTPase activity

Product Notes

The DENND3 dennd3 (Catalog #AAA768565) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DENND3 Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DENND3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, WB. WB : 1:500-1:5000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DENND3 dennd3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DENND3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
