Rabbit anti-Human DEK Polyclonal Antibody | anti-DEK antibody
DEK Antibody (C-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of lysates from U-251 MG, PC-3 cell line (from left to right), using DEK Antibody (C-term). MBS9204068 was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysates at 35ug per lane.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(DEK Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human testis tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the DEK Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(DEK Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of WiDr cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of DEK Antibody (C-term) with Hela cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a protein with one SAP domain. This protein binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA and induces positive supercoils into closed circular DNA, and is also involved in splice site selection during mRNA processing. Chromosomal aberrations involving this region, increased expression of this gene, and the presence of antibodies against this protein are all associated with various diseases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]
Uniprot Description
DEK: a ubiquitous protein with a SAP domain, which is found in a variety of nuclear proteins involved in transcription, DNA repair, RNA processing or apoptotic chromatin degradation. This protein binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA and induces positive supercoils into closed circular DNA and is also involved in splice site selection during mRNA processing. A chromosomal aberration involving DEK is found in a subset of acute myeloid leukemias (AML).

Product Notes
The DEK dek (Catalog #AAA9204068) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 336-364. The DEK Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DEK can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DEK dek for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DEK, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
