Rabbit anti-Mouse Damage Specific DNA Binding Protein 2 (DDB2) Polyclonal Antibody | anti-DDB2 antibody
APC/CY7-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Damage Specific DNA Binding Protein 2 (DDB2)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Required for DNA repair. Binds to ddb1 to form the UV-damaged DNA-binding protein complex (the UV-DDB complex). The UV-DDB complex may recognize UV-induced DNA damage and recruit proteins of the nucleotide excision repair pathway (the NER pathway) to initiate DNA repair. Also appears to function as the substrate recognition module for a DCX (DDB1-CUL4-X-box) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which may ubiquitinate histone H2A, histone H3 and histone H4 at sites of UV-induced DNA damage. The ubiquitination of histones may facilitate their removal from the nucleosome and promote subsequent DNA repair ().

Product Notes
The DDB2 ddb2 (Catalog #AAA2041030) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The APC/CY7-Linked Polyclonal Antibody to Damage Specific DNA Binding Protein 2 (DDB2) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Damage Specific DNA Binding Protein 2 (DDB2) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (ELISA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DDB2 ddb2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Damage Specific DNA Binding Protein 2 (DDB2), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
