Rabbit anti-Human CYP7B1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CYP7B1 antibody
CYP7B1, ID (Cytochrome P450 7B1, 25-hydroxycholesterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase, Oxysterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase) (HRP)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of CYP7B1 Antibody (Center) in Hela cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CYP7B1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with CALR Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(CYP7B1 Antibody (Center) flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of CYP7B1 Antibody (Center) with Hela cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)

Uniprot Description
CYP7B1: Defects in CYP7B1 are the cause of spastic paraplegia autosomal recessive type 5A (SPG5A). Spastic paraplegia is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by a slow, gradual, progressive weakness and spasticity of the lower limbs. Rate of progression and the severity of symptoms are quite variable. Initial symptoms may include difficulty with balance, weakness and stiffness in the legs, muscle spasms, and dragging the toes when walking. In some forms of the disorder, bladder symptoms (such as incontinence) may appear, or the weakness and stiffness may spread to other parts of the body. Defects in CYP7B1 are the cause of congenital bile acid synthesis defect type 3 (CBAS3). Clinical features include severe cholestasis, cirrhosis and liver synthetic failure. Hepatic microsomal oxysterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase activity is undetectable. Belongs to the cytochrome P450 family.

Product Notes
The CYP7B1 cyp7b1 (Catalog #AAA6471354) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CYP7B1, ID (Cytochrome P450 7B1, 25-hydroxycholesterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase, Oxysterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CYP7B1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CYP7B1 cyp7b1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CYP7B1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
