Rabbit anti-Human CYP3A5 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CYP3A5 antibody
CYP3A5 Antibody (C-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of lysate from SK-BR-3 cell line, using CYP3A5 Antibody (C-term). MBS9206241 was diluted at 1:1000. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:5000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Lysate at 35ug.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-CYP3A5 Antibody (C-term) in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CYP3A5 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with CYP3A5 antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of CYP3A5 Antibody (C-term) with 293 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. The encoded protein metabolizes drugs as well as the steroid hormones testosterone and progesterone. This gene is part of a cluster of cytochrome P450 genes on chromosome 7q21.1. Two pseudogenes of this gene have been identified within this cluster on chromosome 7. Expression of this gene is widely variable among populations, and a single nucleotide polymorphism that affects transcript splicing has been associated with susceptibility to hypertensions. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2014]
Uniprot Description
CYP3A5: Cytochromes P450 are a group of heme-thiolate monooxygenases. In liver microsomes, this enzyme is involved in an NADPH-dependent electron transport pathway. It oxidizes a variety of structurally unrelated compounds, including steroids, fatty acids, and xenobiotics. Belongs to the cytochrome P450 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Xenobiotic Metabolism - drug metabolism - cytochrome P450; EC 1.14.14.1; Xenobiotic Metabolism - drug metabolism - other enzymes; Cofactor and Vitamin Metabolism - retinol; Lipid Metabolism - linoleic acid; Xenobiotic Metabolism - metabolism by cytochrome P450; Oxidoreductase

The CYP3A5 cyp3a5 (Catalog #AAA9206241) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 476-502. The CYP3A5 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CYP3A5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CYP3A5 cyp3a5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CYP3A5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
