NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
a cyclin-like protein; may be involved in growth stimulation [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
CCNE1: a member of the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Forms a complex with and functions as a regulatory subunit of CDK2, whose activity is required for cell cycle G1/S transition. Accumulates at the G1-S phase boundary and is degraded as cells progress through S phase. Two alternatively spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The Ccne1 ccne1 (Catalog #AAA440015) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's cyclin E can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blotting (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Ccne1 ccne1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "cyclin E, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
