Related Product Information for anti-CRFR1 antibody
Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRFR1/CRHR1), a Corticotropin-Releasing Factor Receptor, is involved in mediating the stress response and anxiety-related behaviors. Mutations of the receptor reduce anxiety-related behaviors and may be involved in the pathogenesis of Cushing disease. Multiple isoforms of CRFR1 are produced by alternative splicing.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that binds neuropeptides of the corticotropin releasing hormone family that are major regulators of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal pathway. The encoded protein is essential for the activation of signal transduction pathways that regulate diverse physiological processes including stress, reproduction, immune response and obesity. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Readthrough transcription also exists between this gene and upstream GeneID:401884 (ADP-ribosylation factor 3 pseudogene), and the readthrough transcripts encode isoforms that share similarity with the products of this gene. Uniprot Description

Product Notes

The CRFR1 crhr1 (Catalog #AAA247197) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Polyclonal to Human CRFR1 / CRHR1 reacts with Bovine, Dog, Gorilla, Hamster, Horse, Human, Monkey, Pig, Sheep Predicted Reactivity: Bat (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CRFR1 / CRHR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin). IHC-P (20 ug/ml). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRFR1 crhr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CRFR1 / CRHR1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
