Related Product Information for anti-CORO7 antibody
Coronin 7 Antibody: Coronins, such as Coronin 7, constitute an evolutionarily conserved family of WD-repeat actin-binding proteins whose function is thought to be regulating the cytoskeleton. Unlike other cytoplasmically localized Coronins, Coronin 7 localizes in part to the Golgi complex and is thought to play a role in Golgi complex morphology and function. Other experiments indicate that Coronin 7 interacts with the anti-proliferative protein TOB1 and enhances its degradation though the SCF ubiquitin ligase (E3) complex.

NCBI Description

Coronins, such as CORO7, constitute an evolutionarily conserved family of WD-repeat actin-binding proteins. CORO7 plays a role in Golgi complex morphology and function (Rybakin et al., 2004, 2006 [PubMed 15327992] [PubMed 16905771]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]

Uniprot Description

coronin 7: May play a role in the maintenance of the Golgi apparatus morphology and in the protein export from the Golgi. Belongs to the WD repeat coronin family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Vesicle

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16p13.3

Cellular Component: Golgi membrane; Golgi apparatus; membrane; cytoplasmic membrane-bound vesicle; integral to membrane; trans-Golgi network; cytosol; actin cytoskeleton

Molecular Function: actin filament binding; protein binding; actin binding

Biological Process: protein transport; actin filament polymerization; Golgi to endosome transport; actin cytoskeleton organization and biogenesis

Product Notes

The CORO7 coro7 (Catalog #AAA150621) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Coronin 7 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Coronin 7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Coronin 7 antibody can be used for detection of Coronin 7 by Western blot at 1 - 2 mug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 2.5 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 20 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CORO7 coro7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Coronin 7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
