NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Members of the coronin family, such as CORO1B, are WD repeat-containing actin-binding proteins that regulate cell motility (Cai et al., 2005 [PubMed 16027158]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008]
Uniprot Description
coronin 1B: an actin-binding protein that regulates leading edge dynamics and cell motility in fibroblasts. Coordinates the Arp2/3 complex (includes ACTR2, ARPC1B and ARPC2) cofilin activities at the leading edge. Localized to the leading edge in fibroblasts and weakly along actin stress fibers. Phosphorylation by PKC regulates the interaction with the Arp2/3 complex and cell motility in fibroblasts. Belongs to the WD repeat coronin family.

Product Notes
The CORO1B coro1b (Catalog #AAA9401004) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Coronin 1B antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Coronin 1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Western blotting: 1:500-1:3000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CORO1B coro1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Coronin 1B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
