Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human breast tissue using AP10372a performed on the Leica® BOND RXm. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde at room temperature, antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a EDTA buffer (pH9. 0). Samples were incubated with primary antibody(1:500) for 1 hours at room temperature. A undiluted biotinylated CRF Anti-Polyvalent HRP Polymer antibody was used as the secondary antibody.)

synthesis of phosphatidylcholine by the transfer of phosphocholine
from CDP-choline to diacylglycerol. The synthesis of
phosphatidylethanolamine by ethanolaminephosphotransferase occurs
using an analogous reaction. This gene codes for a
choline/ethanolaminephosphotransferase. The protein can synthesize
either choline- or ethanolamine- containing phospholipids. Two
alternatively spliced transcripts encoding the same isoform have
been identified.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Cholinephosphotransferase catalyses the final step in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine by the transfer of phosphocholine from CDP-choline to diacylglycerol. The synthesis of phosphatidylethanolamine by ethanolaminephosphotransferase occurs using an analogous reaction. This gene codes for a choline/ethanolaminephosphotransferase. The protein can synthesize either choline- or ethanolamine- containing phospholipids. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding the same isoform have been identified. Uniprot Description
CEPT1: Catalyzes both phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine biosynthesis from CDP-choline and CDP- ethanolamine, respectively. Involved in protein-dependent process of phospholipid transport to distribute phosphatidyl choline to the lumenal surface. Has a higher cholinephosphotransferase activity than ethanolaminephosphotransferase activity. Belongs to the CDP-alcohol phosphatidyltransferase class-I family.

Product Notes
The CEPT1 cept1 (Catalog #AAA9202985) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 29-57. The CEPT1 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human, Mouse Predicted Reactivity: Rat, Xenopus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CEPT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB~~1:2000 IHC-P-Leica~~1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CEPT1 cept1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CEPT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
