ICC/IF: 1:300-1:10,000
Western Blot (WB)
(Anti-CETN2 rabbit polyclonal antibody at 1:500 dilution Lane A: A549 Whole Cell Lysate Lane B: HT29 Whole Cell Lysate Lane C: MCF7 Whole Cell Lysate Lysates/proteins at 30 ug per lane. Secondary Goat Anti- Rabbit IgG H&L (Dylight 800) at 1/10000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size:20 kDa Observed band size:20 kDa (We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.))
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescence staining of His-CETN2 in MCF7 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti- His-CETN2 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio: 1:1000) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green).Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Caltractin belongs to a family of calcium-binding proteins and is a structural component of the centrosome. The high level of conservation from algae to humans and its association with the centrosome suggested that caltractin plays a fundamental role in the structure and function of the microtubule-organizing center, possibly required for the proper duplication and segregation of the centrosome. Uniprot Description
CETN2: a calcium-binding proteins and is a structural component of the centrosome. Contains 4 EF-hand calcium-binding domains. Highly conserved from algae to humans. Its association with the centrosome suggests that it plays a fundamental role in the structure and function of the microtubule-organizing center, possibly required for the proper duplication and segregation of the centrosome.

Product Notes
The CETN2 cetn2 (Catalog #AAA8107506) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Centrin 2 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Centrin 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:500-1:2000 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10,000 ICC/IF: 1:300-1:10,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CETN2 cetn2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Centrin 2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
