NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of the caudal-related homeobox transcription factor gene family. The encoded protein is a major regulator of intestine-specific genes involved in cell growth an differentiation. This protein also plays a role in early embryonic development of the intestinal tract. Aberrant expression of this gene is associated with intestinal inflammation and tumorigenesis. Uniprot Description
CDX2: Involved in the transcriptional regulation of multiple genes expressed in the intestinal epithelium. Important in broad range of functions from early differentiation to maintenance of the intestinal epithelial lining of both the small and large intestine. Belongs to the Caudal homeobox family.

Product Notes
The CDX2 cdx2 (Catalog #AAA6284842) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDX2, Phosphorylated (S283) (CDX2, CDX3, Homeobox protein CDX-2, CDX-3, Caudal-type homeobox protein 2) (AP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CDX2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Dot Blot (DB). ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDX2 cdx2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CDX2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
