Related Product Information for anti-CD244 antibody
This gene encodes a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells (and some T cells) that mediate non-major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restricted killing. The interaction between NK-cell and target cells via this receptor is thought to modulate NK-cell cytolytic activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells (and some T cells) that mediate non-major histocompatibility complex (MHC) restricted killing. The interaction between NK-cell and target cells via this receptor is thought to modulate NK-cell cytolytic activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Product Notes

The CD244 cd244 (Catalog #AAA625012) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD244 (CD244 Molecule, Natural Killer Cell Receptor, 2B4) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD244 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Dilution: Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml ~75kD band observed in Human Natural Killer (NK) cell lysates after immunoprecipitation with mouse monoclonal antibody C1.7 coupled to Protein G agarose (calculated MW of 41.1kD according to NP_057466.1). We do note that CD244 is a glycoprotein which makes a higher size band to be expected. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD244 cd244 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD244, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
