Related Product Information for anti-CCR3 antibody
C-C chemokine receptor type 3, also called CCR3 or CKR3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CCR3 gene. The protein encoded bythis gene is a receptor for C-C type chemokines. It belongs to family 1 of the G protein-coupled receptors. This gene and seven other chemokinereceptor genes form a chemokine receptor gene cluster on the chromosomal region 3p21. This receptor binds and responds to a variety ofchemokines, including eotaxin(CCL11), eotaxin-3(CCL26), MCP-3(CCL7), MCP-4(CCL13), and RANTES(CCL5). It is highly expressed ineosinophils and basophils, and is also detected in TH1 and TH2 cells, as well as in airway epithelial cells. This receptor may contribute to theaccumulation and activation of eosinophils and other inflammatory cells in the allergic airway. It is also known to be an entry co-receptor forHIV-1. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described

Product Notes

The CCR3 ccr3 (Catalog #AAA176863) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CCR3 antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCR3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Immunocytochemistry (ICC). WB: Concentration: 0.1-0.5ug/ml; Tested Species: Human IHC-P: Concentration: 0.5-1ug/ml; Tested Species: Human; Antigen Retrieval: By Heat ICC: Concentration: 0.5-1ug/ml; Tested Species: Human Tested Species: In-House tested species with positve results. Predicted Species: Species predicted to be fit for the product based on sequence similarities. By Heat: Boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0, for 20mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end user. Antibody can be supported by Chemiluminescent Kit MBS176460 in WB, supporter by MBS176451 in IHC-P and ICC. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCR3 ccr3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCR3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
