Related Product Information for anti-CCDC7 antibody
The coiled-coil domain is a structural motif found in proteins that are involved in a diverse array of biological functions such as the regulation of gene expression, cell division, membrane fusion and drug extrusion and delivery. Some proteins that contain coil-coiled domains include c-jun, c-fos and tropomyosin. Coiled-coil domains consist of two or more alpha-helices packed together via interlacing side chains. CCDC7 (Coiled-coil domain-containing protein 7) is a 486 amino acid protein that contains a coiled-coil domain and is encoded by a gene that maps to human chromosome 10, which houses over 1,200 genes and comprises nearly 4.5% of the human genome. Defects in some genes that map to chromosome 10 are associated with Charcot-Marie Tooth disease, Jackson-Weiss syndrome, Usher syndrome, nonsyndromatic deafness, Wolman's syndrome, Cowden syndrome, multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 and porphyria. There are two isoforms of CCDC7 that are produced as a result of alternative splicing events.

Product Notes

The CCDC7 ccdc7 (Catalog #AAA3005513) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CCDC7 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Pig, Cow, Horse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CCDC7 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CCDC7 ccdc7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CCDC7, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
