NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of the casein kinase I (CKI) gene family whose members have been implicated in the control of cytoplasmic and nuclear processes, including DNA replication and repair. The encoded protein may also be involved in the regulation of apoptosis, circadian rhythm, microtubule dynamics, chromosome segregation, and p53-mediated effects on growth. The encoded protein is highly similar to the mouse and rat CK1 delta homologs. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014]

The Polyclonal Antibody to Casein Kinase 1 Delta (CSNK1d) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Casein Kinase 1 Delta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Formalin/Paraffin, ELISA (EIA). Western blotting: 0.2-2ug/mL;1:250-2500 Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:25-100 Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:25-100 Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CSNK1d csnk1d for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Casein Kinase 1 Delta, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
