NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
CPA2: Three different forms of human pancreatic procarboxypeptidase A have been isolated. The encoded protein represents the A2 form, which is a monomeric protein with different biochemical properties from the A1 and A3 forms. The A2 form of pancreatic procarboxypeptidase acts on aromatic C-terminal residues and is a secreted protein. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2008]

Product Notes
The Cpa2 cpa2 (Catalog #AAA840145) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Carboxypeptidase A2 (CPA2) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Carboxypeptidase A2 (CPA2) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western blotting (0.5-4 ug/ml). 3T3 cell lysate can be used as a positive control. However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes ~46 kDa CPA2 of human, mouse, and rat origins. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cpa2 cpa2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Carboxypeptidase A2 (CPA2), Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
