Rabbit CAF-1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CNOT7 antibody
CAF-1 Antibody (N-term)
Western Blot (WB)
(CAF-1 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the CAF-1 antibody detected the CAF-1 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(CAF-1 Antibody (N-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human testis tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of CAF-1 Antibody (N-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent confocal image of Hela cell stained with CAF-1 Antibody (N-term). Hela cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with CAF-1 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 ug/ml, 10 min). CAF-1 immunoreactivity is localized to Cytoplasm and Nucleus significantly.)
anti-proliferative protein, B-cell translocation protein 1, which
negatively regulates cell proliferation. Binding of the two
proteins, which is driven by phosphorylation of the
anti-proliferative protein, causes signaling events in cell
division that lead to changes in cell proliferation associated with
cell-cell contact. The protein has both mouse and yeast orthologs.
Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants
encoding different isoforms.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene binds to an anti-proliferative protein, B-cell translocation protein 1, which negatively regulates cell proliferation. Binding of the two proteins, which is driven by phosphorylation of the anti-proliferative protein, causes signaling events in cell division that lead to changes in cell proliferation associated with cell-cell contact. The encoded protein downregulates the innate immune response and therefore provides a therapeutic target for enhancing its antimicrobial activity against foreign agents. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2014]

Product Notes
The CNOT7 cnot7 (Catalog #AAA9202707) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 34-61. The CAF-1 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Chicken, Zebrafish, Mouse, Xenopus) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CAF-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CNOT7 cnot7 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CAF-1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
