Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse CA5B Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CA5B antibody
CA5B, CT (CA5B, Carbonic anhydrase 5B, mitochondrial, Carbonate dehydratase VB, Carbonic anhydrase VB) (AP)
ELISA: 1:1,000
IHC: 1:50-100
WB: 1:50-100
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of CA5B Antibody (C-term) in mouse liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). CA5B (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(CA5B Antibody (C-term) IHC analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human skeletal muscle followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of the CA5B Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(CA5B Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of HL-60 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA VB is localized in the mitochondria and shows the highest sequence similarity to the other mitochondrial CA, CA VA. It has a wider tissue distribution than CA VA, which is restricted to the liver. The differences in tissue distribution suggest that the two mitochondrial carbonic anhydrases evolved to assume different physiologic roles. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The CA5B ca5b (Catalog #AAA6280232) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CA5B, CT (CA5B, Carbonic anhydrase 5B, mitochondrial, Carbonate dehydratase VB, Carbonic anhydrase VB) (AP) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CA5B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 ELISA: 1:1,000 IHC: 1:50-100 WB: 1:50-100 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CA5B ca5b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CA5B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
