CA14, NT (CA14, Carbonic anhydrase 14, Carbonate dehydratase XIV, Carbonic anhydrase XIV) (MaxLight 650)
FLISA: 1:1,000
WB: 1:50-100
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of CA14 antibody (N-term) in A375 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CA14 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of A375 cells using CA14 Antibody (N-term) (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of CA14 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal CA14 Antibody (N-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the CA14 gene.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA XIV is predicted to be a type I membrane protein and shares highest sequence similarity with the other transmembrane CA isoform, CA XII; however, they have different patterns of tissue-specific expression and thus may play different physiologic roles. Product Notes
The CA14 ca14 (Catalog #AAA6280207) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CA14, NT (CA14, Carbonic anhydrase 14, Carbonate dehydratase XIV, Carbonic anhydrase XIV) (MaxLight 650) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CA14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA, Western Blot (WB). FC/FACS: 1:10-50 FLISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:50-100 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CA14 ca14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CA14, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
