NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
BEX1: Signaling adapter molecule involved in p75NTR/NGFR signaling. Plays a role in cell cycle progression and neuronal differentiation. Inhibits neuronal differentiation in response to nerve growth factor (NGF). May act as a link between the cell cycle and neurotrophic factor signaling, possibly by functioning as an upstream modulator of receptor signaling, coordinating biological responses to external signals with internal cellular states. Belongs to the BEX family.
Protein type: Cell cycle regulation; Cell development/differentiation
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: Xq22.1|Xq22
Cellular Component: transcription factor complex; cytoplasm; nucleus
Biological Process: nervous system development; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; positive regulation of transcription factor activity; cell differentiation

Product Notes
The BEX1 bex1 (Catalog #AAA2560426) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BEX1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BEX1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:25-1:100 ELISA: 1:5000-1:10000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BEX1 bex1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BEX1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
