Rabbit anti-Human AVPR1A Polyclonal Antibody | anti-AVPR1A antibody
AVPR1A Antibody (C-term)
arginine vasopressin. This receptor belongs to the subfamily of
G-protein coupled receptors which includes AVPR1B, V2R and OXT
receptors. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which stimulate a
phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The receptor
mediates cell contraction and proliferation, platelet aggregation,
release of coagulation factor and glycogenolysis. [provided by
RefSeq].

NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene acts as receptor for arginine vasopressin. This receptor belongs to the subfamily of G-protein coupled receptors which includes AVPR1B, V2R and OXT receptors. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which stimulate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. The receptor mediates cell contraction and proliferation, platelet aggregation, release of coagulation factor and glycogenolysis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
AVPR1A: Receptor for arginine vasopressin. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate a phosphatidyl- inositol-calcium second messenger system. Has been involved in social behaviors, including affiliation and attachment. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Vasopressin/oxytocin receptor subfamily.

Product Notes
The AVPR1A avpr1a (Catalog #AAA9206793) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 355-383. The AVPR1A Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AVPR1A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AVPR1A avpr1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AVPR1A, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
