This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against ATP4B. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: ATP4B belongs to a family of P-type cation-transporting ATPases. The gastric H+, K+-ATPase is a heterodimer consisting of a high molecular weight catalytic alpha subunit and a smaller but heavily glycosylated beta subunit. This enzyme is a proton pump that catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of H(+) and K(+) ions across the plasma membrane. It is also responsible for gastric acid secretion. This gene encodes the beta subunit of the gastric H+, K+-ATPase.The protein encoded by this gene belongs to a family of P-type cation-transporting ATPases. Product Notes

The ATP4B atp4b (Catalog #AAA3207319) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ATP4B antibody - middle region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATP4B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP4B atp4b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: QVKYYPPNGT FSLHYFPYYG KKAQPHYSNP LVAAKLLNIP RNAEVAIVCK. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATP4B, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
