Related Product Information for anti-ATP1B3 antibody
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of
Na+/K+ and H+/K+ ATPases beta chain proteins, and to the subfamily
of Na+/K+ -ATPases. Na+/K+ -ATPase is an integral membrane protein
responsible for establishing and maintaining the electrochemical
gradients of Na and K ions across the plasma membrane. These
gradients are essential for osmoregulation, for sodium-coupled
transport of a variety of organic and inorganic molecules, and for
electrical excitability of nerve and muscle. This enzyme is
composed of two subunits, a large catalytic subunit (alpha) and a
smaller glycoprotein subunit (beta). The beta subunit regulates,
through assembly of alpha/beta heterodimers, the number of sodium
pumps transported to the plasma membrane. The glycoprotein subunit
of Na+/K+ -ATPase is encoded by multiple genes. This gene encodes a
beta 3 subunit. This gene encodes a beta 3 subunit. A pseudogene
exists for this gene, and it is located on chromosome 2. [provided

Product Notes

The ATP1B3 atp1b3 (Catalog #AAA9211502) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 241-270. The ATP1B3 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATP1B3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP1B3 atp1b3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATP1B3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
