Rabbit anti-Human ATG9A Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ATG9A antibody
ATG9A Antibody (C-term)
WB~~1:1000
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent image of U251 cells stained with ATG9A (C-term) antibody. U251 cells were treated with Chloroquine (50 uM,16h), then fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.2%, 30 min). Cells were then incubated with MBS9208371 ATG9A (C-term) primary antibody (1:100, 2 h at room temperature). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:1000, 1h). Nuclei were counterstained with Hoechst 33342 (blue) (10 ug/ml, 5 min). ATG9A immunoreactivity is localized to autophagic vacuoles in the cytoplasm of U251 cells.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-Autophagy APG9L1 Antibody (C-term) in A2058 and A375 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). APG9L1(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
Apg9 plays a direct role in the formation of the cytoplasm to vacuole targeting and autophagic vesicles, possibly serving as a marker for a specialized compartment essential for these vesicle-mediated alternative targeting pathways.

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
ATG9A: Plays a role in autophagy. Cycles between a juxta- nuclear trans-Golgi network compartment and late endosomes. Nutrient starvation induces accumulation on autophagosomes. Starvation-dependent trafficking requires ULK1, ATG13 and FAM48A. Interacts with FAM48A. Belongs to the ATG9 family. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Membrane protein, multi-pass; Autophagy; Membrane protein, integral; Vesicle

Product Notes
The ATG9A atg9a (Catalog #AAA9208371) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 717-746. The ATG9A Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ATG9A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). IF~~1:100 WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATG9A atg9a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ATG9A, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
