Rabbit anti-Human ASPSCR1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ASPSCR1 antibody
ASPSCR1, CT (UBX Domain-containing Protein 9, Renal Papillary Cell Carcinoma Protein 17, Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma Locus, Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma Chromosomal Region Candidate Gene 1 Protein, Tether Containing UBX Domain For GLUT4, ASPL, RCC17, TUG, UB
FLISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of ASPSCR1 Antibody (C-term) in Hela cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ASPSCR1 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with ASPSCR1 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(ASPSCR1 Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of Hela cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene contains a UBX domain and interacts with glucose transporter type 4 (GLUT4). This protein is a tether, which sequesters the GLUT4 in intracellular vesicles in muscle and fat cells in the absence of insulin, and redistributes the GLUT4 to the plasma membrane within minutes of insulin stimulation. Translocation t(X;17)(p11;q25) of this gene with transcription factor TFE3 gene results in a ASPSCR1-TFE3 fusion protein in alveolar soft part sarcoma and in renal cell carcinomas. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
Uniprot Description
ASPSCR1: Tethering protein that sequesters GLUT4-containing vesicles in the cytoplasm in the absence of insulin. Modulates the amount of GLUT4 that is available at the cell surface. Interacts with GLUT4. Ubiquitous. Highly expressed in testis, heart, skeletal muscle and pancreas. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

The ASPSCR1, CT (UBX Domain-containing Protein 9, Renal Papillary Cell Carcinoma Protein 17, Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma Locus, Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma Chromosomal Region Candidate Gene 1 Protein, Tether Containing UBX Domain For GLUT4, ASPL, RCC17, TUG, UB reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ASPSCR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:100-1:500 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ASPSCR1 aspscr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ASPSCR1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
