Rabbit anti-Human ARGBP2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ARGBP2 antibody
ARGBP2, NT (Sorbin and SH3 Domain-containing Protein 2, Arg/Abl-interacting Protein 2, ArgBP2, Sorbin, KIAA0777, SORBS2) (MaxLight 650)
FLISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Fluorescent image of U251 cell stained with ARGBP2 Antibody (N-term).U251 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with ARGBP2 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37 degree C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37 degree C).Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37 degree C).ARGBP2 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significantly. )
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of ARGBP2 Antibody (N-term) in MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ARGBP2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human colon carcinoma reacted with ARGBP2 Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of MDA-231 cells using ARGBP2 Antibody (N-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
ArgBP2: Adapter protein that plays a role in the assembling of signaling complexes, being a link between ABL kinases and actin cytoskeleton. Can form complex with ABL1 and CBL, thus promoting ubiquitination and degradation of ABL1 or with AKT1 and PAK1, thus mediating AKT1-mediated activation of PAK1. Isoform 6 increases water and sodium absorption in the intestine and gall-bladder. 7 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Adaptor/scaffold; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 4q35.1
Cellular Component: perinuclear region of cytoplasm; plasma membrane; nucleus; Z disc; actin cytoskeleton
Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; protein binding; structural constituent of cytoskeleton; structural constituent of muscle; metal ion binding; cytoskeletal adaptor activity
Biological Process: cell migration; actin filament organization; cell adhesion

Product Notes
The ARGBP2 sorbs2 (Catalog #AAA6463919) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ARGBP2, NT (Sorbin and SH3 Domain-containing Protein 2, Arg/Abl-interacting Protein 2, ArgBP2, Sorbin, KIAA0777, SORBS2) (MaxLight 650) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ARGBP2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), FLISA. WB: 1:50-1:100 FLISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARGBP2 sorbs2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ARGBP2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
