Related Product Information for anti-ANAPC5 antibody
Component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. The APC/C complex acts by mediating ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of target proteins: it mainly mediates the formation of 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains and, to a lower extent, the formation of 'Lys-48'- and 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Uniprot Description

APC5: Component of the anaphase promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Belongs to the APC5 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Cell cycle regulation; Ubiquitin conjugating system

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q24.31

Cellular Component: anaphase-promoting complex; cytosol; nucleoplasm; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein phosphatase binding

Biological Process: anaphase-promoting complex-dependent proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; negative regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle; positive regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle; proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; protein ubiquitination during ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; regulation of ubiquitin-protein ligase activity during mitotic cell cycle

Product Notes

The ANAPC5 anapc5 (Catalog #AAA9416437) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 5 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Immunohistochemistry: 1:20 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ANAPC5 anapc5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 5, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
