Goat AMHR2 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-AMHR2 antibody
Goat anti-AMHR2 (aa88-99) Antibody
Western Blot: Approx 60+65kDa bands observed in lysates of cell line MDA-MB-231 (calculated MW of 62.7kDa according to NP_065434.1). The observed molecular weights can be explained by glycosylation of the mature isoforms. Recommended concentration: 1-3ug/ml.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes the receptor for the anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) which, in addition to testosterone, results in male sex differentiation. AMH and testosterone are produced in the testes by different cells and have different effects. Testosterone promotes the development of male genitalia while the binding of AMH to the encoded receptor prevents the development of the mullerian ducts into uterus and Fallopian tubes. Mutations in this gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome type II. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. Uniprot Description
MISR2: On ligand binding, forms a receptor complex consisting of two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators. Receptor for anti-Muellerian hormone. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. TKL Ser/Thr protein kinase family. TGFB receptor subfamily.
Protein type: Protein kinase, Ser/Thr (receptor); Protein kinase, TKL; Kinase, protein; Membrane protein, integral; EC 2.7.11.30; TKL group; STKR family; Type2 subfamily
Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q13
Cellular Component: integral to plasma membrane
Molecular Function: ATP binding; hormone binding; metal ion binding; protein binding; receptor activity; receptor signaling protein serine/threonine kinase activity; transforming growth factor beta receptor activity, type II
Biological Process: female gonad development; male gonad development; Mullerian duct regression; sex differentiation; signal transduction; transforming growth factor beta receptor signaling pathway
Disease: Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome, Types I And Ii

Product Notes
The AMHR2 amhr2 (Catalog #AAA423624) is an Antibody produced from Goat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Goat anti-AMHR2 (aa88-99) Antibody reacts with Tested: Human; Expected from sequence similarity: Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AMHR2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Peptide ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 128000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AMHR2 amhr2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: ESLHCDPSPR AH. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AMHR2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
