Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence staining of AFF3 in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human AFF3 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degree C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.)

Related Product Information for anti-AFF3 antibody
AFF3 (AF4/FMR2 family member 3) is a gene on chromosome 2q11.2-q12 that encodes a tissue-restricted nuclear transcriptional activator preferentially expressed in lymphoid tissue, which may function in lymphoid development and oncogenesis. AFF3 is enriched at both the intergenic-differentially methylated region (IG-DMR) and the Meg3 enhancer within the imprinted Dlk1-Dio3 locus to regulate the allele-specific gene expression in this locus. AFF3 is enriched at gamete differentially methylated regions (DMRs) of the imprinted loci and regulates the imprinted gene expression. AFF3 is a new target of Wnt/beta-catenin pathway involved in adrenocortical cancer (ACC), acting on transcription and RNA splicing.

Product Notes

The AFF3 (Catalog #AAA8110016) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-AFF3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's AFF3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). ICC/IF: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AFF3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "AFF3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
