Related Product Information for anti-ADRB3 antibody
beta3-Adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) Trp64Arg polymorphism is associated with atherogenic risk factors that include weight gain, insulin resistance, and diabetes. Habitual exercise brings higher cardiorespiratory fitness and results in the amelioration of atherosclerotic risk factors. Presence of the beta3-Adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) gene Trp64Arg (T64A) polymorphism may be associated with an increased susceptibility for essential hypertension (EH). The beta3-adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) regulates thermogenesis and lipolysis in brown and white adipose tissue. ADRB3 plays a critical role in the regulation of energy metabolism in mammals. Polymorphism in the ovine ADRB3 gene has been reported to be associated with birth weight, growth rate, carcass composition, and cold survival.

NCBI Description

binds BRL373 and norepenephrine; may play a role in the adrenergic signaling pathway [RGD, Feb 2006]

Uniprot Description

Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. Beta-3 is involved in the regulation of lipolysis and thermogenesis.

Product Notes

The ADRB3 adrb3 (Catalog #AAA8102424) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ADRB3 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ADRB3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:1000 IP: 0.2-1uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADRB3 adrb3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ADRB3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
