Immunogen
ADM antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 75-105 amino acids from the Central region of human ADM.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

(Overlay histogram showing A549 cells stained with MBS648888 (green line). The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were then icubated in 2% BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by MBS648888 (1:25) for 60 mins at 37ºC. The secondary antibody used was Goat-Anti-Rabbit IgG, DyLight® 488 Conjugated Highly Cross-Adsorbed at 1:400 for 40 mins at 37ºC. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was rabbit IgG (1ug/1x10e6 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10, 000 events was performed.)

ADM, a hypotensive peptide found in human pheochromocytoma, consists of 52 amino acids, has 1 intramolecular disulfide bond, and shows a slight homology with the calcitonin gene-related peptide.
