Related Product Information for anti-Adenosine antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to detect Adenosine in mammalian samples.

Background: Adenosine (ADO) is a purine nucleoside comprising a molecule of adenine attached to a ribose sugar molecule (ribofuranose) moiety via a beta-N9-glycosidic bond. Adenosine plays an important role in biochemical processes, such as energy transfer — as adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) — as well as in signal transduction as cyclic adenosine monophosphate, cAMP. It is also an inhibitory neurotransmitter, believed to play a role in promoting sleep and suppressing arousal.

Product Notes

The Adenosine (Catalog #AAA840222) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Adenosine Antibody reacts with Adenosine and N6-Methyladeosine in wide species of mammals. and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Adenosine can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Dot Blot (DB), Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), RNA Binding Protein Immunoprecipitation (RIP). Western blot: 1-4 ug/ml. Dot Blot, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), RNA Binding Protein Immunoprecipitation (RIP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Adenosine for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adenosine, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
