Related Product Information for anti-ACTN1 antibody
Background: Alpha actinins belong to the spectrin gene superfamily which represents a diverse group of cytoskeletal proteins, including the alpha and beta spectrins and dystrophins. ACTN1-related macrothrombocytopenia. Mutations in the gene ACTN1 cause mild macrothrombocytopenia characterized by elevated mean platelet volume and elevated immature platelet fraction, and low bleeding tendency. Its transmission is autosomal dominant. Molecular test is made by sequencing the ACTN1 gene. ACTN1 was also found to act as an effector for the isoform EFA6B (also known as PSD4) in the human mammary tumoral MCF7 cell line. EFA6B restored the glandular morphology of this tumoral cell line in an ACTN1-dependent manner. Thus, we identified new regulators of cyst luminogenesis essential for the proper maturation of a newly-formed lumen into a single central lumen.

Product Notes

The ACTN1 (Catalog #AAA8119255) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-actinin alpha 1/ACTN1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's actinin alpha 1/ACTN1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:2000 IP: 1-5uL/mg of Lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACTN1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "actinin alpha 1/ACTN1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
