Rabbit anti-Human ACK1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ACK1 antibody
ACK1, CT (Tyrosine Kinase Non-receptor Protein 2, Activated CDC42 Kinase 1, ACK-1, TNK2) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1000
WB: 1:10-1:50
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of anti-ACK1 Antibody (C-term) in CEM cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ACK1(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of ACK1 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal ACK1 Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the ACK1 gene (Lane 2) (60 KD recombinant protein).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
Western Blot (WB)
(ACK1 Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in mouse kidney tissue lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the ACK1 antibody detected the ACK1 protein (arrow).)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a tyrosine kinase that binds Cdc42Hs in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42Hs. This binding is mediated by a unique sequence of 47 amino acids C-terminal to an SH3 domain. The protein may be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42Hs and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified from this gene, but the full-length nature of only two transcript variants has been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
Ack: a tyrosine kinase that binds Cdc42 in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42. This binding is mediated by a unique sequence of 47 amino acids C-terminal to an SH3 domain. May be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42 and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway. Amplification in primary tumors correlates with metastatic potential . Two differentially spliced isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The ACK1 tnk2 (Catalog #AAA6461064) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ACK1, CT (Tyrosine Kinase Non-receptor Protein 2, Activated CDC42 Kinase 1, ACK-1, TNK2) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ACK1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1000 WB: 1:10-1:50 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACK1 tnk2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ACK1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
